Magical Mystery Tour of Kenya

September
21 - October 4, 2003
THERE
ARE TWO THEMES for our tour of Kenya. The first is to understand
and protect the animals of the Earth. The second is to honor the
ancient lineage of the black race in humanity's homeland. To fulfill
these wishes, we visit the most diverse wild animal parks in Africa
and learn the spiritual and healing practices of the elders of Kikuyu,
Mganga, Samburu and Maasai traditions.
We safari past
snowy Mt. Kenya to Samburu's crocodile laden banks on the Ewaso
Nyiro river. We continue through the heart of the Great Rift Valley
to the shores of Lake Nakuru where we walk through prehistoric time
exploring the archeological site of Hyrax Hills. From there we continue
on to the northern most tip of the Serengeti--the Mara Steppe.
This is Kenya's
spring and the temperature is approx. 28 degrees C. Nairobi is at
6,000 feet above sea level so the evenings cool off.
