The Egyptian Mysteries is one of a series on The Inner Mysteries and their importance in our life today. These mysteries are the spiritual and eternal truths on which our world and all life are founded.
Track 1 of The Egyptian Mysteries explains the significance of the central myth of the ancient Egyptian culture, which is the story of Osiris’ death and rebirth. It is a myth that details the predictable stages that all of us need to go through in our road to consciousness.
In the guided visualization on Track 2, called Initiation in the Pyramid of Giza, you will experience a powerful spiritual initiation in the pyramid of Cheops, called the Great Pyramid in Egypt.
The Egyptian Mysteries, along with the series on the Inner Mysteries, shows you how your individual journey to consciousness and all the experiences you have had in your life are tied to the journey that all humans have taken in all cultures and all religions from time immemorial. This helps you to see that your suffering and achievements have great meaning not only for you but for all humanity. The greater your consciousness the more you give to all humans to support their journey. We are all connected in past, present and future time.
These teachings help your directly to grow in consciousness and to attune to all humanity in the timeless NOW. They teach you to decipher the myths and stories of humanity to apply these eternal truths to your life and the lives of others be this your family, friends or clients if you are in a healing profession. This series is a perfect accompaniment to Tanis Helliwell’s book Decoding Your Destiny: Keys to humanity’s spiritual transformation.
More on The Egyptian Mysteries
Both Osiris and Isis, as well as all the gods and goddesses of Egypt, were Atlanteans. According to ancient Egyptian myth, Osiris left his sister-wife Isis to rule Egypt while he traveled throughout the Earth bringing civilization to people of many nations. He was credited with showing them how to domesticate animals and cultivate grains and make wine and he taught them to worship the Gods.
Like Osiris, we too must establish ourselves and be successful in the material world before we dedicate ourselves to the inner soul quest. It’s from a place of fullness and success that we commence a conscious spiritual journey, and not from a place of want or lack in our personality. In other words, we have to become full before we can empty, before we can consecrate ourselves to others.
In the Egyptian story, when Osiris returns to Egypt after his successful work, his jealous brother Seth decides to kill him. Seth seals his brother Osiris in a coffer and throws him in the river. In later times in Egypt, when initiates re-enacted the Osirian mystery they also were sealed in a coffer, within the King’s Chamber of the Great Pyramid, where for three days and nights they underwent secret trials on their own. Upon re-emerging they were called the “twice born”, and this is what is meant by Christ’s words, “Lest you be born again, you will not enter the Kingdom of heaven”.
On track one of this CD you will learn about the death and rebirth experience, because some of the stages in this process are stated in what happens to Osiris’ consort, Isis. The story of how Isis brought Osiris back to life was told to the common people, and by his example, illustrates for us how we too can attain eternal life.
In the guided visualization Initiation in the Pyramid of Giza on track two of this CD you will journey to the Great Pyramid in Egypt where 6000 years ago the descendants of the Atlanteans – who were called the Sons of the Gods – underwent a series of spiritual tests called initiations. These initiations were employed to catalyze spiritual consciousness in the initiate.
